Becoming a mother has been the most transformative and powerful experience of my life. The love I have for my daughter has completely altered the trajectory of my priorities and values. True intimacy challenges us to face the price we pay for indulging in our self destructive and impulsive patterns. And children look to us with open hearts and open minds, only seeking connection and stability in return. And yet we cannot give what we have not learned ourselves.

“Weaving a Place of Safety” honours the private labour of parenthood. Fastidious braids fall gently and firmly, creating a warm den for cuddles. We celebrate our efforts because we know that each tender moment shared is a testament to all the work and discipline it takes to defend a space safe enough for intimacy to bloom.
